Blue Cheese Bits

Are you ready for this?  For the easiest appetizer ever?  Well, maybe not ever.  That french onion dip with the packet of onion soup mix and the carton of sour cream might be the easiest appetizer ever.

But this one is still pretty easy.  And it's cheap.  Win win situation we have here.

This was my appetizer for the most recent cookbook club.  It seemed to be a crowd pleaser, for sure something I'll whip up again.

If biscuits, blue cheese and butter are wrong then I don't want to be right....

Blue Cheese Bits
from Prime Meridian

1 can of refrigerated biscuits (I used Great Value buttermilk home style, 8 biscuits)
3 oz of blue cheese
1 tbl of butter

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Place the cheese and the butter in a baking dish, place in the oven for 4-6 minutes.  Remove and blend the butter and cheese.

Meanwhile, quarter the biscuits.  Once the butter and cheese are blended, place the biscuits on top.  Return to the oven and bake for 12-15 more minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.  Invert onto a serving dish.

Serving size 1 bit (makes 32)
Points plus 1 per bit
