A Few on Friday

Hey hey hey lovlies!  How's it going?  Hope your Friday is a happy one so far.  Here a quick few good things:

1.  This makes me smile:
Anyone else notice the resemblance between my Browne hound and Jaaba the Hut? 

Brandon said this picture was mean and I should not compare him to this thing.  I disagree.  What's mean is when a certain Akita growls at you when you have had a few glasses of wine and just want to lay on top of him.  That's mean. 

But this picture makes me smile for another reason.  Big Browne lived a lot of years before he found us and adopted us.  I don't like to think about his life before us because it makes me feel sad.  I'm sure that there were times that he was scared, lonely, hurting, hungry.  Now look at him!  With his facial rolls and fancy harness.  Homeboy is not hungry.  Annoyed at times, maybe, but he's not hungry.  Or lonely as we are up in his grill all of the time.  And when he gets scared, it's of things like the vacuum cleaner and fireworks. 

God bless this sweet, sweet hound.  I love my dog so much that it almost hurts.  God help me if I ever have children... 

And we did start him on diet food yesterday.  Don't worry, he cleaned his bowl....

2.  This also makes me smile:
Purple tulips from the Wal Mart!  I copied my friend Swayzer.  Really it's Swayze but I think Swayzer is more fun. Don't you?  Anyway.  She has these at her front door and they make me happy each time I walk that Browne Hound by her house.  Now, I get to see mine each time I walk by my window.  Score one for spring! 

3.  While we are on the topic of things that make me smile, I've been scoping out the menu for Virago in Nashville.  It's one of the spots we will be  hitting up this weekend and I am pumped.  And slightly obsessed with food which is a whole other topic.  ANYWAY.  If you were going there this weekend, what would you get?  Here's the sushi menu, copied and pasted:
